I have several listings to look thru which could be discouraging, so for the next 2 days, July 13th and 14th , I’m going to put the Blogmania image in the first 15 listings, after that you are on your own. My clue is "look for the smiley face behind the peel"

Check out one of our newest items, Travel felt boards.
The perfect learning tool for play time, preschool, or home school! We have felt shape sets but you can also purchase some eco friendly felt and cut your own shapes because felt sticks to felt. The travel size is perfect for individual play, long car rides, doctor’s offices, or church. Just Velcro the sides closed, slip the felt pieces inside, and you’re ready to roam. Travel size board is 9"x13" when its closed and 13"x18 when its open and has foam board in the middle for firmness,

New Things
We are going to be listing a lot of new things in the next few days. We have some really cute crayon rolls and pockets that will hold 6, 12, and 15 crayons plus some of them hold pads of paper also. We have some new felt food, a really cute new tea party set and some new veggies. Let us know that you visited the blog and left us a comment and we will give you 10% off. Check back often to see what's new.
Alex, the oldest grandchild, is going to start doing reviews on some of our items. He is 11 years old and even though he is a little old for some of our items he can give us a younger point of view. He's very excited and I think he will do a great job.

Tooth Fairy Fix
Now I have a 7 year old daughter. Love her to death, she honestly brings joy to my life, but she kills me sometimes. She lost her first tooth a couple of months ago. Now she waited for this event forever. She has an older brother and had seen him getting money, so she knew what she was coming to her. She played with this tooth all day long, lost it I don't know how many times, and drove me batty. So we wrapped it up in a napkin, put it under her pillow and she had to wait. The tooth fairy must have had a hard time finding something the size of a pea in the middle of the night, because the next morning my daughter found it on the side of her when she woke up. From then on I knew I needed something different for her. My mom saw this idea and made a pillow just for her tooth. She loved it and so did the tooth fairy. It is now a ritual when one of my kids loses a tooth, they know it goes in the pillow and it does not get touched after that. The tooth fairy does not have to hunt in darkness for a tiny little tooth and my daughter has never woken up with her tooth still there again.

Beginning New
This is my first blog entry and I am super excited to begin. I am starting a new business venture and can not wait to see where I can take this. My name is Diane and I live in Seattle, WA.. I have always loved making and designing things and I am now hopefully going to be able to make a living from it. I am married, have four children and four grandkids. I have always created and enjoyed making things for them and 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I could not continue doing it anymore. I am now in remission and wanted to do something different in my life. I quit my job and started a store on line. Getting sick was never a plan of mine, but it made me think about the important things in life and made me realize that life is to short to do things that don't make you happy. So now I sell the things that I make and surprisingly I am doing well. I have received a lot of great feed back and everybody seems to really enjoy the items in my store. I chose the name It's The Small Things because it fits my attitude towards life these days. With all the stresses of life and constant hassles of the day, every once in a while something as small as a thank you card can make a world of difference. You may think that a little gesture is not worthy of your time, but to somebody else it may mean a good day versus a bad day. You don't have to spend a lot or go bankrupt to put a smile on somebody's face and believe me, a smile is worth a thousand words. In my store I sell lots of different items and am always willing to do something custom for you. I have a full fabric library and would love for you to stop by and see what can make you or somebody you know smile. Remember it's the small things in life that count.
